Certified Pre-Owned

Explore Scientific Certified Pre-Owned telescopes and accessories are carefully inspected by our Quality Control Team to ensure they meet our high standards for performance and functionality. Once approved, each item is securely repackaged, often in a new box, and prepared for shipment.

These products typically come from one of two sources: customer returns that are frequently in like-new condition or equipment that has been traded in toward another purchase. Because they are pre-owned, these items may show normal signs of use, including minor scratches, scuffs, dents, dings, discoloration, or other cosmetic wear. These imperfections are expected and do not affect the item's intended performance.

All Certified Pre-Owned products include Explore Scientific’s standard Limited One-Year Warranty covering mechanical and optical systems. However, cosmetic imperfections are not covered under warranty.
