FCD100 Series 127mm f/7.5 Aluminum Air-Spaced Triplet ED APO Refractor Telescope

The Explore Scientific FCD100 Series 127mm f/7.5 Triplet APO Refractor is a premium optical instrument designed for serious visual observers and astrophotographers who demand exceptional image quality. Its air-spaced triplet lens system combines genuine HOYA FCD100 extra-low dispersion (ED) glass with proprietary EMD enhanced multi-layer coatings to virtually eliminate chromatic aberration and deliver razor-sharp, high-contrast views of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects. With a generous 127mm aperture and diffraction-limited optics, this refractor excels at revealing fine planetary detail, delicate nebular structure, and pinpoint star fields. The robust 2.5" HEX focuser offers smooth, precise adjustments and can support heavy imaging setups up to 10 lbs. Built for performance and portability, the ED127 features an integrated dew shield, cradle ring with carry handle, and a Vixen-style dovetail plate for easy mounting. Whether you’re chasing the subtle shadows on Jupiter or capturing long-exposure images of distant galaxies, the FCD100 Series 127mm delivers uncompromising optical performance.
